‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 2 Returns July 31
Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy finally has an air date for its second season! The superhero drama will return to fight crime on July 31.
The Umbrella Academy tells the story of seven superpowered individuals who were all born at the same time to mothers who had shown no previous signs of pregnancy. They are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who trains them to be a child superhero team. However, the team grew apart and disbanded, later to reunite after their father’s death, and must now save the world from a global apocalypse.
They epically released this news with a video of the seven Hargreaves siblings dancing to Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now”. It was a take on the scene in “We Only See Each Other at Weddings and Funerals”, including Tom Hopper’s crab dance, but recreated with the actors all in lockdown.
