Sam Humphries, writer of the ongoing DC comic Harley Quinn that took over the series two years ago with #45, announced on Twitter that the series will officially be coming to an end in August with Issue #75. The issue will feature art from Nicola Scott, Emanuela Lupacchino, Ramon Villalobos, Joe Quinones, Riley Rossmo, and Ngozi Ukazu, along with the return of Poison Ivy. The cover art is done by Guillem March and Frank Cho. The final issue will also contain a tie-in storyline part of the Joker War between Harley and Joker’s new partner, Punchline, that pits them against each other.

Humphries composed a follow-up tweet stating, “This is a happy ending for all – I’m moving on to some very cool secret projects (no hints) and Harley is moving on to one of my favorite creators and people (no hints). Perfect occasion for a new number one. And I’m absolutely thrilled about where Harley is headed.”

The final issue will be available on August 4, 2020 for $5.99.
