With season 10 of the AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead being cut short due to the coronavirus outbreak, there may be many unanswered questions. However, it looks as though there will at least be some answers for the events that unfolded in the March 15 episode.

The flashback first starts out with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in his cell while he awaits the decision of the council as to whether he will be put to death for the accidental death of one of Lydia’s attackers. The shot then switches to an unlikely visitor in Carol (Melissa McBride), in which she asks Negan if he wants to team up with her to kill Alpha (Samantha Morton). When Negan appears hesitant, Carol quickly responds, noting that if Negan wants people to forget what he did as the leader of the Saviors, she will do this for him. “Not unless you do something to make them forget. So bring me Alpha’s head, and that’s what people will remember you for. I’ll make sure of it.”

The synopsis for “Look at the Flowers” is:

Heroes and villains reckon with the aftermath of the Hilltop fire; Eugene takes a group on a journey to meet Stephanie, with the hopes of befriending another civilization.

The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
