FAN EXPO Dallas is the latest convention to be postponed due to the coronavirus. The convention was scheduled for March 27-29, 2020 with a large guest list. The good news for fans is that they already have a new date for the convention: June 19-21, 2020.

They are giving all fans the option to transfer their tickets to the new date in June, transfer to next year’s dates, May 14-16, 2021, or providing a full refund (excluding services fees.) It will take up to 12 weeks for the refund. Also, they are allowing exhibitors and artists the option to transfer their fees for exhibits and artist alley tables to the new date in June, transfer to next year’s dates, May 14-16, 2021, or a full refund (up to 12 weeks as well for the refund.)

Other good news? Lord of the Rings’ Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd will be at the new dates in June along with “The Four Hobbits: An Unexpected Reunion” event. If you purchased a package for that, keep an eye on your emails.

Tickets for the new date will go on sale on Tuesday.
