During today’s big game, Super Bowl LIV, Marvel debuted the first footage of three of their upcoming shows, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, set to debut sometime this summer, will feature two fan favorites from the Captain America franchise Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson. Wilson, fresh off receiving the coveted Captain America shield from Steve Rogers at the end of Avengers: Endgame, is seen slinging the vibranium red, white, and blue into a tree, while Barnes faces Baron Zemo, the villain from Captain America: Civil War, being reprised by Daniel Brühl. This will also feature Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter and Wyatt Russell as John Walker, the U.S. Agent.
WandaVision also got a sneak, showing our two titular characters in various situations in various eras of history. As well as Loki, with a sinister line from the iconic character owned by Tom Hiddleston. Nothing more is known about the plot of these two, but excitement is building. WandaVision is also slotted to debut sometime this year, with Loki scheduled for spring 2021.
