Even though Incubus has been busy with their 20 years of “Make Yourself” tour, which celebrated their breakthrough album with such hits as “Drive”, “Pardon Me” and “Stellar”, they still had time to work on new material and released their most recent single, “Our Love” today on all streaming platforms.

Incubus has been a household name in Indie rock since the late 90s, but first saw commercial success with their third album Morning View in 2001 with songs like “Wish You Were Here” and “Nice To Know You”. The Californian group has since released four more full albums and one Best Of, as well as an EP, 8 being their latest full album released in 2o16.

In 2019, the group released “Into The Summer”, a tribute to the movie Lost Boys and reassurance for fans that they are still working on new music, despite their massive touring schedule. “Our Love” is a tribute to classic Incubus sounds as well as small visual nods in the video to their very first releases Fungus Amongus and Enjoy Incubus. The band shows their witty humor and creativity as well as an idea of simplicity in both the song and the video, which are both hopefully just a small taste of what is yet to come.

You can watch the video on YouTube and stream “Our Love” on all major platforms.

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
