Industry veterans Tom Cook (Smurfs), Phil Ortiz (The Simpsons), Brett Weldele (The Surrogates), Jonathan Hallett (Hereditary), Christopher Priest (Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War), Jed Thomas (CryptTV, The Amity Wars), Joe Wos (Mazetoons), and Randy Emberlin (Amazing Spider-Man, Venom) are among the top creators in this year’s Artist Alley at the eighth annual Wizard World Portland!
Greater Portland creators will also be on hand throughout the weekend and include Mitzi Fordyce (sculptures/jewelry), Tayler Howard (illustrations), Dezra Otto (Disney, Motion Logic Studios), Christopher Levin (graphic design, illustrations), Michael Flynn (graphic art/retro), Brad Eastburn (Lucky Comics, video game art), Celeste Ingalls (original art prints, stickers), Collin Schlicht (Jak and Daxter, Hero Complex Gallery), Kate Patrick (illustrations), Becca Wilson (Geek it Up Portland, pop culture pillows), Alexander Burrows (illustrations, fantasy art), Melissa Kaylor (pixel art, plush toys), Misty Figueredo (sculptures).

Wizard World Portland also provides non-stop live entertainment, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with select celebrities and autographs/photo ops with top stars. The range of guest stars is big this year. It includes Smallville headliners Tom Welling (Clark Kent), Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), Erica Durance (Lois Lane), John Glover (Lionel Luthor) and Laura Vandervoort (Kara/Supergirl), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story) and James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Craig Parker (Lord of the Rings), Nick Zano (Legends of Tomorrow), Holly Marie Combs (Charmed) and more, along with Wizard World’s Master of Ceremonies, Kato Kaelin.
The second event scheduled on the 2020 Wizard World calendar, Portland hours are Friday, January 24, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, January 25, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, January 26, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with a paid adult.
