New ‘Birds of Prey’ Trailer Shows the Best Way of Getting Out of a Toxic Relationship

The year 2020 has arrived, and women everywhere are tired of what the world is putting them through on a daily basis. Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), who was without a doubt the star of 2016’s Suicide Squad, is going to demonstrate her way of dealing with the things life throws at her. With Birds of Prey, Harley Quinn is getting her first solo movie, and it’s shaping up to be an absolute blast.

In a new trailer released today, we can see not only Harley and her new squad, but also her new nemesis, Black Mask a.k.a. Roman Sionis (Ewan McGregor). In the comics, the Birds of Prey are a superhero team with various members. In this incarnation, the characters are Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell).

The whole movie seems to be in an 80s aesthetic, with a lot of neon colors and also nods to classic films and movie stars – Harley even dresses up as Marilyn Monroe. It looks like we will get a lot of action and a lot of typical antics from Harley, making just the trailer already a joy to watch.

Birds of Prey hits theatres on February 7, make sure to check out the trailer below!

Conny joined her first fandom at the tender age of three and somehow never stopped finding new things to obsess about and love. Her current love is everything Marvel, especially two characters who tend to be frozen at one point or the other. From Drag Race to Harry Potter or musical theatre, as long as it makes her smile (or cry), it’s probably her thing.
