‘The Witcher’ is the Most Watched TV Series of 2019

After just over a week of debuting on Netflix, The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill as the supernatural monster hunter, has become the most in-demand TV series in the world, according to Business Insider.

The Witcher received some mixed reviews in its first week, but this is not stopping viewers from tuning in to watch how the story unfolds between Geralt of Rivia, the sorceress, Yennefer, and Princess Cirilla. Read our review of The Witcher for more insight into the show.

The Witcher is ranked in the top 10 shows for Netflix and comes in at the top spot in the UK and Australia, and second only to Stranger Things in the US. At the end of the 2019, it has passed Disney+’s Star Wars live-action TV show The Mandalorian for the top show in the world.

Keep an eye on The Witcher for more news in 2020 as the cast head back to filming the second series, due in 2021.
