Video Games Being Released in January
We are at the beginning of another year, one that will not disappoint in the world of video games. Originally supposed to be released in November of 2019, Doom Eternal is coming this March. A few other highly anticipated games set with a 2020 release include Cyberpunk 2077, Halo Infinite, Marvel’s Avengers, and many more.
Regardless of the platform you use — Play Station 4 (PS4), Xbox One (XBO), Nintendo Switch (NS), Computer (PC), etc. — there is a game for you to enjoy playing.
Here is a list of the video games being released this month.
January 9
AO Tennis 2 (PC, PS4, XBO, NS)

January 10
The Blind Prophet (PC)
This point ‘n’ click game players become apostle Bartholomeus, who is completing a mission and prophecy to liberate the city of Rotbork from corruption and confront the Great Evil within.
January 14
Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack (PC, PS4, NS)
The deluxe pack features Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX, where a young herbalist named Ayesha begins a journey to find her missing sister Nio. Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX follow Esch and Logy, who each focus on different alchemy and look into the mystery of the Dusk. And Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX, two women Shallistera and Shallotte search for the secret of the Dusk to find their dreams.

Super Crush KO (PC, NS)
This is a fast-paced fighting game where players battle hordes of robots to save their kidnapped kitten and save humanity from Al apocalypse. But seriously, save the kitten.
January 17
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (PC, PS4, XBO)
This game immersed players in the world of Dragon Ball Z as Goku and included never-before-seen moments that answer some of the lore’s questions. Along with other favorite characters that include Goku’s son Gohan, players battle to save the world and harness the Kamehameha energy wave.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore (NS)
Calling on creative powers of music, dance, and more talents which are revealed as Fire Emblems, players battle a rogue spirit that feeds off of creativity. Will your performance win in the fight against the mirages?
January 21
Moons of Madness (PS4, XBO)
Players become Shane Newhart, a technician stationed at the Invictus on Mars. Your job is to keep things running smoothly until a new team comes to take over. But when things start to fall apart, what is even real?
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection (PC, PS4, XBO, NS)
This collection features two series of games, modes, features, all four Mega Man Zero games, Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent.
January 23
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition (PS4, NS, Android, iOS)
Returning with a remastered edition, the game comes with a new online multiplayer mode to connect wirelessly and play with friends. There are also new dungeons, bosses, character voiceovers, and more for players to enjoy.
Rugby 20 (PC, PS4, XBO)

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire (PS4, XBO)
Go after a rogue god by traveling over land and sea. Players captain a ship on a voyage across the unexplored archipelago and the Deadfire Bend. What will you find?

Through the Darkest of Times (PC)
