The epic season finale of The Mandalorian arrived on Disney+ today, leaving Star Wars fans distraught at the idea of not knowing when the next time we would see Baby Yoda’s face would be (or the Mandalorian’s … for that matter). Over the course of the past month and a half, the first live-action Star Wars television series has truly taken the world by storm.
Series creator Jon Favreau clearly understands this struggle for fans, as he shared some news that doubles as a late Christmas gift this afternoon.

Season two, which is currently in production, will be coming to Disney+ in fall 2020! Though this may seem like a lifetime away, if the quality of the first season is anything to go off of, it will certainly be worth the wait.
In the meantime, we’ll all continue living in this world of an endless surplus of Baby Yoda memes and season two theories.
Stay tuned for our review of season one of The Mandalorian!
