The first photos for filmmaker Michael Matteo Rossi‘s upcoming feature Shadows have been released!
Currently filming, it is an action thriller telling the story of a young, low-level drug dealer being reunited with his estranged mom and uncle for protection when a ruthless drug kingpin puts a hit on him.
We were fortunate to be provided by Rossi some exclusive first look stills of the film. Judging on how they look, we’re very excited to see more come out of it!
The film boasts an impressive cast including Krista Allen, Eric Etebari, David Labrava, Francis Capra, Rahart Adams, Simeon Panda, Rachel Alig, Cathy Baron, Eve Mauro, Jazsmin Lewis, and Vernon Wells, among others. Michael Matteo Rossi, along with directing the film, also wrote it and is producing it along with Jane Badler and Katrina Nelson.
Rossi tells us, “Shadows is a film I feel so passionate about that from the leads to the day players. I knew the casting was everything in this film. We have some great action set pieces along with some really powerful performances I’m seeing from my actors so far. I feel it will be my best film.”
