First Guest for Planet Comicon Kansas City 2020 Announced

Planet Comicon Kansas City will return to Bartle Hall for its 21st annual event on March 20 – 22. The event announced their first confirmed celebrity guest, Monty Python comedy legend John Cleese. Cleese is known for his roles in Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, and Shrek. He will attend Plant Comicon on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21.

Cleese is just the first of the many celebrity guest announcements that will happen in the coming months as the con approaches. In addition to celebrity guests, hundreds of comic creators will also be part of the lineup and give fans the chance to meet their favorite stars from the world of comics. As in previous years, the celebration will be spread throughout the downtown Kansas City area with special events and activities to experience throughout the weekend.

Tickets for the 21st annual event are on sale now. A 10% discount on general admission tickets is available for active military, teachers, librarians, and first responders when tickets are purchased in advance online.
