Ms. Marvel Joins ‘Marvel’s Avengers’ Game
They revealed during the Marvel games panel at New York Comic-Con (NYCC), Ms. Marvel, a.k.a. Kamala Khan will be joining the Avengers as a playable character in Marvel’s Avengers. While teased from the beginning, this reveal confirmed that she would not just be a non-playable character.

Kamala Khan is going to be the unifying force after the Avengers have been split up according to Bill Rosemann, VP and Creative Director for Marvel Games. There are a few changes to Ms. Marvel in the game compared to the comics. The significant difference is that in Marvel’s Avengers, Kamala gets her powers on A-Day, instead of after fighting with friends at a party. Terrigen Mist is still the reason for the awakening of her Inhuman powers, and Kamala now has to face a world that hates superheroes.
Cast to voice Ms. Marvel is Sandra Saad (Fallout 76.) From what Marvel has shown so far, she seems to have done a fantastic job capturing the heart and soul of Kamala. Saad remarked during a short panel before doing signings at NYCC that she had never been on a motion capture stage before. So, having her first scene with Travis Willingham (Thor) was kind of intimidating because he is “really, really tall,” and she is “really, really not.”
We can not wait to play this game! Marvel’s Avengers will be available on May 15, 2020. You can pre-order your copy here, and get beta access.
