Osric Chau Joins the Arrowverse in “Crisis on Infinite Earths” Crossover
The Arrowverse is getting a new Atom! Entertainment Weekly has reported that Supernatural’s own Osric Chau will be joining in on the hugely-anticipated “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover later this fall/winter.
Chau will be playing Ryan Choi in the five-part crossover, a physics professor at Ivy Town University who evidently learns he has a pivotal role in the coming crisis. Comic book fans will know that Ryan Choi is another version of the Atom, taking up the mantle after Ray Palmer, who is currently played by Brandon Routh. It’s interesting to note that Routh is going to be leaving DC’s Legends of Tomorrow sometime this upcoming season, and he’s also only supposed to be playing the Kingdom Come version of Superman and not the Atom in the crossover.
Sadly our @GiftsForTheGeek guest @OsricChau is unable to attend #OzComicCon Sydney, as he has secured a really exciting role in a TV series and is on his way to Vancouver.
He is sorry he can’t get to meet his amazing Sydney fans this time and he hopes to be back soon. pic.twitter.com/6qHurkRGo4

Earlier this week, Chau had to cancel Oz Comic-Con in Sydney due to a new role he booked in Vancouver. After this news and the fact that production has officially started on the biggest crossover in the Arrowverse yet, it makes sense.
“Crisis on Infinite Earths” will begin Sunday, December 8 with Supergirl, followed by Batwoman on Monday, December 9 and The Flash on Tuesday, December 10. For the first time, it will carry on into the new year with both Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow wrapping up the event on Tuesday, January 14 on The CW.
