‘Battlestar Galactica’ Reboot Coming to NBC’s New Streaming Service

NBCUniversal has announced that the beloved sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica will get a reboot for its upcoming streaming service, Peacock. The reboot will be helmed by Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail.

Although no further details about the reboot have been released, Esmail has assured fans of the 2004 series that he will “explore a new story” within the already established world, in order to remain true to the heart of the story.

Along with the reboot and other NBCUniversal content, Battlestar Galactica will be available to watch on Peacock. The streaming service is set to launch April 2020.
