‘Battlestar Galactica’ Reboot Coming to NBC’s New Streaming Service
NBCUniversal has announced that the beloved sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica will get a reboot for its upcoming streaming service, Peacock. The reboot will be helmed by Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail.
Although no further details about the reboot have been released, Esmail has assured fans of the 2004 series that he will “explore a new story” within the already established world, in order to remain true to the heart of the story.
BSG fans, this will NOT be a remake of the amazing series @RonDMoore launched because… why mess with perfection? Instead, we’ll explore a new story within the mythology while staying true to the spirit of Battlestar. So say we all!
