Last month, electronic violinist Lindsey Sterling premiered the instrumental version of her new single “The Upside” at the 39th annual A Capitol Fourth celebration from the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C. Highlighting her abilities as both talented dancer and musician, Sterling performed to a captivated audience.

Now, Stirling is releasing a vocal version “The Upside,” featuring vocalist Elle King. The electronic dance track combines elements of King’s bluesy rock-n-roll vocals and Lindsey’s signature electronic violin style. The 118 BPM song features elements of progressive house and traditional pop to create a soulful, high-energy, and bold new song. Check it out below:

“The Upside” is available on all streaming platforms with the release coming ahead of Sterling’s forthcoming album, Artemis, due out Sept 6. Both the instrumental and vocal mix of “The Upside” will be featured as separate singles on Artemis.
