‘Avengers: Endgame’ to Be Re-Released With Bonus Scenes Next Week!
In its race to beat Avatar (2009) as the highest-grossing film of all time, Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame will be re-released next weekend with additional bonus scenes, according to ScreenRant. The currently reigning top-film of all time, Avatar, also saw re-releases in its day, making such a high number of views possible. Avengers: Endgame hit theaters on April 26 and has accumulated those high numbers in a much shorter time frame than the James Cameron space epic.
In a recent interview, Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige confirmed that Endgame will not only get re-released, but that there will also be additional post-credit scenes. In the aforementioned news release from ScreenRant, Feige also said that while the re-release will not be an “[…]extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
This cinematic re-release will help fans patiently (or not so patiently) awaiting the release of the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, get a refresher before diving into a new adventure with their favorite heroes.
