New Trailer And Poster Revealed For ‘Avengers: Endgame’
In an unexpected move, Marvel Studios has released a new trailer and poster for Avengers: Endgame. The movie will be released on April 26 and fans have been anxious to find out more about their heroes’ fate in the upcoming Marvel epic.
With the hype from the release of Captain Marvel still being highly present, it was a smart move to release the trailer for the next installment in the franchise so quickly. As Captain Marvel is a prequel to all things pre Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and fits in seamlessly into the plots and storylines woven over the past 11 years, the fresh connection makes sense.
The trailer begins – like the Marvel Cinematic Universe once did – with Tony Stark. From the previously released teaser, we already knew Tony was going to be stranded in space. What is new in this trailer, are the connections between the heroes’ first appearances and their current situation. Held in black-and-white with red details, these scenes blend in with the new uniforms the remaining Avengers are using in the fight to get back the people lost in Infinity War.
The emotional build-up in the trailer is not to be missed, with the Avengers theme music rising in a continuous crescendo, fed with scenes from either the old movies or with new footage, showing how the characters are dealing with the losses and how they are planning on fighting back. While fans got a mere glimpse of Clint Barton as Ronin (or Hawkeye) in the teaser, this trailer shows Natasha bringing him back to join the Avengers, who have now found some new additions in Nebula and Rocket.
As this film takes place quite some time after the events of Infinity War, some have accepted the losses, but not earth’s (and space’s) mightiest heroes.
There are, of course, some new additions to this trailer except a look at the new Avengers uniforms – we finally witness Carol Danvers (a.k.a Captain Marvel) meeting the Avengers in a scene with Thor, giving new hope to the team and the fans, that some of their favorite heroes might actually make it out of this fight alive.
Along with the trailer, Marvel has also released a new poster, which can be seen here:
