Rainn Wilson Joins the Cast of “Star Trek: Discovery” as Harry Mudd

StarTrek.com announced that Rainn Wilson has joined the cast of Star Trek: Discovery!

Rainn is most known for his role as Dwight Schrute on The Office.

Rainn will play Harry Mudd. Mudd is “the charismatic conman and intergalactic criminal first introduced on Star Trek: The Original Series, is one of Trek’s most-popular characters.”

There’s no release date yet for the show, as it has been pushed back multiple times. Hopefully we’ll hear an official release date soon.
