Louden Swain Begins #MusicMondays

Share:

The band Louden Swain will be doing a worldwide release of their new 12-track album called “No Time Like The Present” on January 13, 2017. The first single “Amazing” (available on iTunes) has had a very positive reception. It is a sublimely melodic song that through its lyrics illustrates the power of redemption from self-destruction when one is saved with love and grace.

This week they announced that they will be streaming a new song every Monday leading up to the release, Nerds and Beyond will be tracking their progress and sharing our thoughts. This week’s release “Present Time” does not disappoint. It has a carefree rock-country feel that evokes the album’s title “No Time Like The Present” and gives us a glimpse at what some of the album’s core themes might be—including the pleasures that can be found in simple spontaneity. One devoted fan, Angèle Desjardins, shared her thoughts: “I loved it instantly! It’s fun, upbeat and it has a very different feel from any of their other stuff. It’s got me excited for the new album!”
