Recently, Nintendo Treehouse went live again for the 2016 E3 to discuss and demonstrate one of the newest upcoming Pokémon games, Pokémon GO. Pokémon GO is a mobile game that will be available for iPhone and Android devices in late July 2016. It will allow trainers to experience the Pokémon world in a whole new way by using Niantic’s Real World Gaming Platform, which will use actual locations for finding and capturing the many different Pokémon. It basically takes the whole “I will travel across the land, searching far and wide,” line of the original Pokémon theme song to heart.
Pokémon GO will be free to play and will offer in-game purchases. However, players will also have the chance to purchase Pokémon GO Plus (a wearable wrist accessory that allows you to play the game without having to constantly keep the mobile app open) for $34.99.
You can watch the Pokémon GO demonstration in the video below.
