As anticipation continues to build for season 2 of Batwoman, Entertainment Weekly has released an official first look at Shivaani Ghai as Safiyah, a character who will finally be introduced in the show’s upcoming season.
Safiyah, the ruler of the island Coryana, primarily focuses on guarding a rare flower called the Desert Rose, which holds special healing properties. She is an adversary to Alice, and the two have a complicated history that will most likely be explored deeper in season 2 with Safiyah’s introduction to the show.
