We’re about to meet a girl named Maria as Disney has released the long awaited first trailer for West Side Story! The new film based on the iconic musical and directed by legendary director Steven Spielberg was originally meant to be released in December 2020, but was delayed until December 10, 2021. In the new trailer, we get a glimpse of the Jets vs. the Sharks, as well as our first look at major numbers from the classic show.
West Side Story stars Rachel Zegler (in her first film role), Ansel Elgort, Ariana DeBose, David Alvarez, Mike Faist, Corey Stoll, Rita Moreno, and Brian d’Arcy James, with Moreno also co-producing the film. Check out the trailer below!
