‘Promising Young Woman’ Wins Academy Award

The Academy has honored the film Promising Young Woman with an Oscar! The film was nominated for a total of five awards, winning for Best Original Screenplay by Emerald Fennell. The dark comedy was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Carey Mulligan), Best Director (Fennell), and Film Editing.
