‘Sound of Metal’ Wins Two Academy Awards

The acclaimed film Sound of Metal has taken home two Oscars! Sound of Metal was nominated in six categories. The film was honored with the awards for Best Editing and Best Sound for its groundbreaking approach to immersing the audience in the experience of lead character Ruben (Riz Ahmed), who loses his hearing and must adapt to his new world.

Sound of Metal was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor in a Leading Role (Ahmed), and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Paul Raci). You can watch the film on Amazon Prime now, and be sure to check out our full review here.
