Directed by Paul King from a screenplay he co-wrote with Simon Farnaby, based on a story by King and characters created by Dahl, the film stars Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, and Olivia Colman.
