Rick Cosnett to Appear in Upcoming Season of ‘9-1-1’
9-1-1 is due to return with its seventh season in less than a month, and Rick Cosnett (The Flash) will be appearing as a guest star in what’s described as a key recurring role. This news was first reported by Deadline.
In keeping with the show’s theme of kicking off the season with a disaster of epic proportions, it looks like we’ll see the show’s first responders traverse choppy, unforgiving waters to assist with a hijacked, capsized cruise ship. Cosnett will portray the charismatic cruise director Julian Enes.
The synopsis for the first episode of season 7, “Abandon ‘Ships,” is as follows:
“Athena and Bobby set off on their honeymoon cruise, but when duty calls, their vacation is put on hold. Meanwhile, a fighter jet traps a civilian, and an unusual incident leaves a couple stuck together.”
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, 9-1-1 explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders — including police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers — who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking, and heart-stopping situations.
The show’s cast includes Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ryan Guzman, Corinne Massiah, and Gavin McHugh.
Don’t miss season 7 of 9-1-1 when it premieres on ABC on March 14. In the meantime, catch up on seasons 1-6 on Hulu now.
