Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has planned to present a diverse range of unique catalog offerings throughout 2024 to celebrate Columbia Pictures’ 100th anniversary. This celebration will include the entire Sony Pictures Entertainment library of movies and TV shows featuring blockbuster franchises, fan-favorite and cult classics, award-winners, iconic star-making performances, filmmaker-driven showcases, and many more. This celebration will highlight the studio’s extensive collection of movies and TV shows, ranging from little-known gems to quotable favorites and everything in between.
January is kicking off with two exciting ways to enhance your movie collection. First, Amazon will have a sale on physical discs, offering discounts on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-rays, and DVDs starting January 10. You can expect great deals on titles such as Ghostbusters, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Lawrence of Arabia, and more.
Second, starting January 16, participating digital retailers will offer a digital movie sale, including 100 movies for a $100 digital bundle featuring many acclaimed and iconic movies like The Lady From Shanghai, Tootsie, 2012, Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, and others.
