Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the digital and physical release of Five Nights at Freddy’s, which shattered records at the box office. The digital edition comes first on November 28 with 4K UHD, Blu-ray™, and DVD set for release on December 12.

The bonus features for both editions include the following:

  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: From Game to Big Screen – Feel the frights of Freddy Fazbear’s come alive as the film recreates the game’s world with immersive environments and wild surprises that’ll haunt longtime fans and newcomers alike.
  • Killer Animatronics – Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy transform from cute and cuddly into creepy and killer through a combination of costumed performers and cutting-edge puppetry.
  • Five Nights in Three Dimensions – Five Nights at Freddy’s takes a two-dimensional game and turns it into a three-dimensional nightmare.

Five Nights at Freddy’s follows a troubled security guard as he begins his new job at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. His first night on the job proves it won’t be so easy to make it through. The film’s cast includes Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Mason, and Matthew Lillard. Five Nights at Freddy’s is directed by Emma Tammi and written by Tammi, Scott Cawthon, and Seth Cuddeback, with Jason Blum and Cawthon. Executive producers for Five Nights at Freddy’s are Bea Sequeira, Russell Binder, Marc Mostman, and Christopher H. Warer. The iconic animatronics are brought to life by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
