Following last month’s premiere of Desperation Road, actor Garrett Hedlund (Mudbound, Triple Frontier) has released his latest single, which is featured in the film.
As noted in Hedlund’s Instagram post, an official video for the song is coming later this month on November 17.
Desperation Road is currently available digitally and On Demand, with a Blu-ray and DVD release forthcoming on November 14.

While Hedlund has become recognizable face on the big screen over the years, gaining notoriety in roles such as Jack Mercer (Four Brothers) and Sam Flynn (TRON: Legacy), it doesn’t stop at acting for him. He’s also shown off his talents as a musician in films like Country Strong, Lullaby, and Dirt Music — and most recently, the hit Paramount+ series Tulsa King.
In addition to his songs for films and shows over the years, Hedlund began releasing his own music in early 2022, the latest single prior to today’s being a heartfelt Mother’s Day track — “Day One.”
Catch Hedlund’s next film, The Marsh King’s Daughter (starring Daisy Ridley and Ben Mendelsohn), when it hits theaters on November 3.
