Ryan Gosling Makes Some Bad Decisions in ‘The Fall Guy’ Trailer

The trailer for Universal Pictures’ The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been released. The Fall Guy releases in theaters on March 1, 2024.

Inspired by the 1980s TV series of the same name, David Leitch (Bullet Train) directs the action-thriller from a screenplay by Hobbs & Shaw screenwriter Drew Pearce. In The Fall Guy, Gosling plays stuntman Colt Seavers and like every person in the community, he’s had his fair share of bumps and bruises crashing from high buildings, being blown up, set on fire, shot, and even crashed. After surviving a near career-ending accident that put him out of commission for a year so he could focus on his physical and mental health, he is sent on a mission to track down a missing movie star — Tom Ryder (Taylor-Johnson) — who seems to have gotten himself involved in some shady business. To get him (and the love of his life Jody, played by Blunt) back, he must use the skills in his day job to pull off one of if not the most dangerous stunts he’s ever been a part of. Winston Duke, Hannah Waddingham, and Stephanie Hsu also star in the film.

The Fall Guy is produced by Kelly McCormick (Bullet TrainNobodyAtomic Blonde) and David Leitch for their company 87North, and by Ryan Gosling and Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones, Steve Jobs and executive producer of the upcoming series Ripley) for Entertainment 360. The film is executive produced by Drew Pearce, Entertainment 360’s Geoff Shaevitz, and the creator of the original Fall Guy television series, Glen A. Larson.
