On the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite Kazuchika Okada will make his official AEW Dynamite wrestling debut. On Battle of the Belts VIII, Orange Cassidy laid out the challenge to the Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli.
Not only that, he dropped a big surprise: his partner for the match will be none other than the Rainmaker himself. “If Claudio & Bryan want to start a fight, well then we can fight. How about you two meet me & Okada in Philadelphia this Wednesday on Dynamite, and then we can fight,” Cassidy said in a backstage promo with Lexy Nair. The last time that Okada appeared for AEW was at Forbidden Door 2023 where he wrestled Danielson who broke his arm mid-match, later returning on the go-home AEW Collision to All Out in September.
