Multi-Man Match Added to September 27, 2023 AEW Dynamite

Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a multi-man 4-way match.

Orange Cassidy, Austin Gunn, Penta El Zero Miedo and one third of the ROH Six-Man Champions Matt Jackson will face off against each other. Three fourths of the group are traditionally part of tag teams (Penta, Jackson, and Gunn) but of those men Penta is the freshest in terms of singles and multi-man non tag match competition in AEW. Gunn hasn’t wrestled a multi person match without Colten since 2019 and Jackson even sooner with his last being in 2016 (if you don’t count BTE #199).

This past week on AEW Rampage the Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page competed for the ROH Six-Man Championships held by The Mogul Embassy which they captured, making the team two-time champions and the Young Bucks three-time champions, having previously held the titles with Cody Rhodes in 2018.

Bullet Club Gold continues to heat up AEW, specifically AEW Collision and the Gunns are a huge part of that. A few weeks back, they faced The Elite and FTR at AEW All Out in Chicago. Penta has been getting high profile matches, including his singles match with Samoa Joe and his International Championship title match opportunity with former International Champion Orange Cassidy. Speaking of Cassidy, since losing the title to Jon Moxley at AEW All Out, he’s found himself in tag team action with Hook.

AEW Dynamite hails from Broomfield, Colorado at the 1stBank Center.
