Former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has signed a multi-year contract with WWE, as first reported by ESPN.

Cargill first debuted in AEW in 2021 and quickly became a rising star in the wrestling industry. Cargill was the first TBS Champion, holding it for a record setting 508 days before losing it in May at AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view to Kris Statlander. Cargill recently finished up with AEW, wrestling Statlander in a rematch on the September 13 episode of AEW Rampage. Cargill joins other former collegiate athlete turned wrestler like Bianca Belair, Big E, John Cena, The Rock, and Roman Reigns to name a few. Upon her departure from AEW, she was one of the hottest free agents in wrestling. At this time it’s unclear whether Cargill will enter NXT or go straight to the main roster.
