On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, Tiffany Stratton and Becky Lynch went to war for the NXT Women’s Championship.
In a match that tested both women and pushed them to their limits, Lynch came out on top, pinning Stratton after utilizing the Manhandle Slam to win the title. This marks Lynch’s first NXT Women’s Championship reign, a title that has evaded her throughout her time in WWE and her first time as a grand-slam champion. Lynch is a four-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, a three-time RAW Women’s Champion and a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Lita.
It also appears Lynch has a challenger set in Kiana James who promised to come after Lynch should she win the title earlier in the night.
