Amazon Studios has released the trailer for FOE starring Academy Award nominees Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal based on the novel of the aforementioned name by Iain Reid.
FOE follows Hen (Ronan) and Junior (Mescal) who own a farm on a secluded piece of land passed down from Junior’s family through generations. When a stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up to their doorstep with a startling proposal for Junior to go to space and be replaced by A.I., it sends their quaint life into turmoil. FOE is co-written by Davis and Reid. Dawn Olmstead, David Levine, Robert Walak, Samantha Lang, and Reid serve as executive producers with Kerry Kohansky-Roberts, p.g.a., Davis, p.g.a., Emile Sherman, p.g.a., and Iain Canning, p.g.a. set as producers.
New editions of Foe from New York Times best-selling author Reid with the Amazon Studios film cover will release on October 3 from Scout Press in the U.S. and from Simon & Schuster Canada. FOE releases theatrically in the U.S. on October 6, Canada on October 13, Australia on October 19 via Transmission Films and the UK and Ireland on October 20 via MetFilmDistribution.
