Prime Video has released the latest in a series of teasers for Red, White & Royal Blue, their upcoming adaptation of Casey McQuiston’s bestselling novel.
The highly anticipated movie has received a promo blitz ahead of its official release this week, giving fans multiple other teasers and photographs. The streamer also updated the film’s official page to show that Red, White & Royal Blue will actually be available to stream starting earlier than expected, so for any fans planning to stream when it released at midnight, make sure to check when your time zone and adjust your plans accordingly!
The latest teaser gives fans a closer look at the aftermath of “cakegate,” a particularly memorable scene from McQuiston’s novel that serves as the inciting incident for the film’s main premise: a forced PR campaign to prove that relations between the movie’s two main protagonists — Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zahkar Perez), America’s first Mexican-American First Son, and Prince Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor of England (Nicholas Galitzine) — are great, just wonderful, and that the pair aren’t enemies at all. (The tension between the two, of course, turns out to be caused by something else entirely … )
