Friday afternoon, WWE held its first-ever fan service event where fans purchased tickets to volunteer alongside WWE Superstars to help raise funds for the V Foundation. Cody Rhodes, Riddick Moss, Emma, Zoey Stark, Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Baron Corbin, and Byron Saxton were on-site for the project that will help service 60,000 meals to families in need in Detroit.
After the event, Titus O’Neil, Big E, and Rhodes answered questions from the press. O’Neil discussed his projects outside of wrestling including a reveal that he’s writing his second book, his dedication to WWE’s community events, and more. Big E gave an update on his recovery for his neck injury, detailing how meditation has really helped him in the process. Rhodes discussed his return to SummerSlam after a 10 years hiatus to Cageside Seats’ Rick Ucchino. “There’s a large sense of responsibility is the best way that I would put it. It’s not the most exciting or sexy answer but everything I do I want to reinforce my place in the world; in this world. I really do think Brock Lesnar is Mr. SummerSlam, kind of looking through his former accolades at SummerSlam.”
Nerds & Beyond was on-site for the event and you can check out the photos below.
