Sony Pictures has announced the premiere dates for a couple of previously undated upcoming releases, as well as shifting release dates for several additional projects.
Bad Boys 4 is now set for a June 14, 2024 theatrical release, followed closely behind by Venom 3 which will make its way into theaters July 12, 2024.
The rest of the projects included in their announcement have had release date shifts, both pushing forward and back. On the Marvel side of things, the first to be impacted is Kraven the Hunter, which was originally set for an October 6, 2023 release. It will now premiere approaching a full year later on August 30, 2024. Additionally, Madame Web was pushed forward from February 16 to February 14, 2024.
The highly anticipated third installment to the Spiderverse franchise, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spiderverse, gave up its premiere date to Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which will release March 29, 2024 rather than December 20 of this year. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spiderverse‘s release date is now marked as TBD.
Gran Turismo, originally dated for August 11, is now going to sneak preview over the same weekend and August 18, and will officiailly premiere on August 25. The Karate Kid reboot originally set for June 7, 2024 is pushed to December 13, 2024, and Blumhouse’s They Listen, which was previously set for for August 30, 2024 is now undated.
