Tobin Bell Is Ready for More Games in ‘Saw X’ Trailer
John Kramer is well and truly back. This weekend, Lionsgate finally released the trailer for Saw X, the 10th installment in the horror franchise that began in 2004. The latest addition is set to premiere September 29 in theaters, and with it comes some familiar faces.
Per Lionsgate, the official synopsis reads: “John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the SAW franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of SAW I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.”
Saw X was written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger, with Kevin Greutert as director. Mark Burg and Oren Koules serve as producers. Alongside Bell, the feature ushers in the return of Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young and also stars Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, Octavio Hinojosa, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, and Synnøve Macody Lund.
