The Official Trailer for ‘The Marvels’ Released

Marvel Studios’ dropped the official trailer for the upcoming superhero film The Marvels. Forced to work together when their powers become entangled, Captain Marvel, Captain Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel must figure out their differences in order to defeat an enemy that wants to destroy the universe. The official synopsis of the film reads as follows:

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

The Marvels stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Captain Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan. The film also includes Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson. Nia DaCosta directs the film with a screenplay written by Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, Jonathan Schwartz and Matthew Jenkins serve as executive producers with Kevin Feige also producing.
