‘Oppenheimer’: Watch the New ‘Pushing The Button’ Featurette Now

Universal Pictures has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for their upcoming release Oppenheimer titled Pushing The Button.

The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Oppenheimer is a World War II-era biopic that follows J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project which led to the invention of the atomic bomb. In addition to directing from his own screenplay, Nolan produces alongside Emma Thomas and Atlas Entertainment’s Charles Roven.

The massive cast is led by Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer and stars Emily Blunt as Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer, Florence Pugh as Jean Tatlock, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss, Matt Damon as General Leslie Groves Jr., Benny Safdie as Edward Teller, and Josh Hartnett as Ernest Lawrence.

The cast also includes Rami Malek, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Alden Ehrenreich, Olli Haaskivi, Guy Burnet, Danny Deferrari, Matthias Schweighöfer, Harrison Gilbertson, Emma Dumont, Devon Bostick, Jason Clarke, James D’Arcy, David Dastmalchian, Dane DeHaan, Trond Fausa, Christopher Denham, Olivia Thirlby, and Josh Zuckerman.

Oppenheimer releases exclusively in theaters on July 21, 2023.
