Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming thriller Bird Box Barcelona, which is a prequel to the hit film Bird Box.
The film follows Sebastian in the early days of the invasion of mysterious creatures that when seen with a human eye causes people to commit suicide in horrific ways. Trying to navigate this new reality without his eyes, Sebastian soon forms an uneasy alliance with others who are trying to escape Barcelona. These alliances are soon put to the test when the group encounters a collective that is actively trying to force citizens to view these creatures.
Bird Box Barcelona‘s cast features Mario Casas, Alejandra Howard, Georgina Campbell, Naila Schuberth, Diego Calva, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Lola Dueñas, Patrick Criado, Gonzalo de Castro, Michelle Jenner, and Celia Freijeiro.
The film is written and directed by Álex Pastor and David Pastor with Dylan Clark, Núria Valls, Adrián Guerra, Chris Morgan, Ryan Lewis and Josh Malerman producing.
