‘Buying Back My Daughter’: First Look At Ariana Madix in Upcoming Lifetime Film

Fresh off the heels of the riveting Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion and post #Scandoval, Ariana Madix has grabbed the attention of the nation appearing in various ads and commercials over the last few weeks. Madix’s latest project, Buying Back My Daughter, is based on a true story and is the latest project in Lifetime’s effort to bring light to important issues and continue to drive messaging for the network’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign. Madix stars as Officer Karen who helps investigate the case and has a personal connection to the story.

Buying Back My Daughter centers around couple Dana (Meagan Good) and Curtis (Roger Cross) whose 16-year-old daughter Alicia (Faith Wright) sneaks out of the house to attend a party. This act of teenage rebellion quickly escalates when a widespread search party is ordered led by Dana and local law enforcement.

“After almost a year of searching for her missing daughter, mother’s intuition leads Dana to the salacious world of online escort ads where, to her horror, she finds her Alicia listed for sale. Dana and Curtis spring into action and attempt to “buy their daughter back” in order to rescue her from the trafficker who abducted Alicia and subjected her to unspeakable harm.”

Madix made her first appearance on Vanderpump Rules in season 1 before becoming a series regular in season 3. Madix’s other credits include Paradise City, The Other Two, and Waking Up with Strangers. Madix has also recently opened up a restaurant with VPR co-star Katie Maloney, Something About Her.
