Amazon Studios has found its latest additions to Heads of State, a film being described as Air Force One meets Midnight Run that is being directed by Nobody director Ilya Naishuller. Beyond that brief description, plot details are being kept in the dark.
The newcomers to the cast are Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle, Clare Foster, Katrina Durden, and Aleksandr Kuznetsov. The cast for Heads of State is shaping up to be quite star studded, as this impressive list joins the previously announced John Cena, Idris Elba, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
The script was originally drafted by Harrison Query, but the final screenplay comes from Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec. Peter Safran and John Rickard are producing under the Safran Company; with Cena, Elba, and Marcus Viscidi serving as executive producers on the project.
