Additional Cast for Universal Monsters Film from Radio Silence Announced
Angus Cloud, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, and Kevin Durand are the latest additions to Radio Silence’s upcoming thriller monster flick at Universal Pictures. The four join the cast with Melissa Barrera, Alisha Weir, and Dan Stevens, the latter of which was only just announced yesterday.
The yet-to-be-named flick is set for an April 19, 2024 release.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will helm the project under Radio Silence, with Chad Villella serving as producer alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt for Project X Entertainment. Tripp Vinson will also serve as producer. Radio Silence’s most recent theatrical run, Scream VI, was met with mostly positive response from fans and critics alike.
Universal Pictures’ list of monsters are widely considered to be pop-culture icons and the building blocks for much of the horror genre, with recognizable names such as Dracula, Frankenstein, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Mummy, and the Wolfman. Though many versions of these characters have been utilized throughout film and television for almost a century now, audiences have yet to grow tired of these monsters that go bump in the night.
