‘The Acolyte’ Receives Release Window

As part of Star Wars Celebration in London, a release window for the upcoming mystery-thriller, The Acolyte, was announced. teaser for the series was also shown at the event.

Originally announced during Disney’s 2020 Investor Day event, very little information has been revealed about the series, which will be brought to screen by Russian Doll creator Leslye Headland. While plot details are still a well-kept secret, we do know that The Acolyte will take place during the final days of the High Republic era. The High Republic, which was the golden age of the Jedi, began around 200 years prior to the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

The cast includes Jodie Turner-Smith, Lee Jung-Jae, Amandla Stenberg, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Rebecca Henderson and Carrie-Anne Moss.
