During the opening moments of AEW Dynamite, Jay White stopped Ricky Starks in his tracks to help fellow Bullet Club member Juice Robinson beat down Starks.
Rumors have been swirling for months about whether White would appear in WWE as people in the company expressed interest in the New Zealand wrestler. Just yesterday, PWInsider reported there was “absolutely no discussion” regarding White this past weekend in Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39. “Based on multiple conversations with WWE officials and talents, we are told it does not appear White is WWE bound,” the report said. White wrestled his final match in Japan against Eddie Kingston in a “Loser Leaves NJPW” match at NJPW Battle in The Valley.
White first appeared in AEW last summer when the company was promoting its Forbidden Door joint PPV with NJPW. White left NJPW as the fifth triple crown champion and first grand slam champion.
