Viewers watch as Tetris inventor Alexey Pajitnov, played by Nikita Efremov, makes some changes to his classic creation. Taron Egerton’s Henk Rogers provides some fresh ideas and reminds us how a simple video game can bring joy to our lives. The film is inspired by the true story of how Rogers believed in this game so much that he put his life on the line to bring it to the world. Facing down the KGB on foreign soil is no small task. The journey of Tetris becoming a worldwide sensation is an interesting, fun ride with high stakes and a surprising amount of heart.
With the talented Jon S. Baird at the helm as director and a script written by Noah Pink, this film will be an enjoyable experience. Tetris is available to stream now on Apple TV+.
